The kit has a secure bolt in steel plate that goes under the plastic dash to tie into the main steel structure to make sure you eliminate flex and vibration from just mounting to the plastic dash parts.
• Functional Grid Design – The system utilizes 7 bolt micro-inserts that are customized to fit into the panel’s unique grid design so you can easily mount any type of accessory, like your phone, Ipad/Tablet, GPS unit, etc. The kit also has an optional mic mount for your radio microphone to hang from. – *** requires purchase of a mag mount to complete that is not included.
